I don't enjoy Hart's pro-Christian strips. I don't think comic strips are the appropriate place for religious propaganda. If he wanted to make a joke for or against his religion, that might be something else. But usually he's proselytizing, not joking.

Which is his right, of course. But his Easter strip went even further, denigrating another religion to promote his zealous Christian beliefs. That's as inappropriate for a general newspaper as a comic strip claiming blacks are inferior or denying the Holocaust happened.

Yes, at least as it's practiced today. It's far from what Jesus would've wanted. More on that at What Jesus Said.
