Indians scalp Red Sox to even series

The Cleveland Indians scored seven runs in the 11th inning to beat Boston 13-6 and square the seven-match Championship series 1-1.
A topsy-turvy match at the Red Sox' Fenway Park ground saw the lead change several times and the sides were locked together at 6-6 after the regulation nine innings.
But it was the American League Central outfit who held their nerve, with the Indians' right fielder Franklin Gutierrez hammering a three-run homer in the 11th frame to set his team on the road to victory.
Boston's two-time World Series-winning pitcher Curt Schilling was below his best, and he surrendered home runs to Jhonny Peralta and Grady Sizemore, while Manny Ramirez and Mike Lowell went deep for the New England outfit.
Cleveland out-hit the Red Sox 17 to 10 and the victory means the sides now travel to Jacobs Field all-square for three games at the home of the Tribe.
