Another Stereotype of the Month entry:
A correspondent sent me these Hip Shot cartoons from "Comics Sherpa." Needless to say, they revel in stereotypes. Besides the half-naked Indians in loincloths, one cartoon implies that Indians were scalpers (a few were; many weren't). The other implies that Indians did rain dances (a few did; most didn't.)
