Stereotype of the Month Entry
(3/6/02)

Another Stereotype of the Month entry:

Some of the "novelties" avaiable from Rhode Island Novelty, a catalog I received in the mail.

In the first picture, note the classic stereotypes: the naked Indian brave dressed only in a loincloth, his skin red, wearing a single feather, deadly weapons in hand.

In the second, note the classic theme of dressing up as Indians and wearing sacred feathers as a costume.
